dc.description The irruption in the history of the so called «Sea Peoples» profoundly altered the evolution of the Eastern Mediterranean civilizations. Pharaoh Ramses III was the individual figure who rose up to confront them and stopped their devastating path of destruction at the very border of Egypt. We shall try to give a current view of this historical figure, using the images and the contemporary texts related to this king.
