Mullins (ex 8th South African Infantry) and have been reassembled and edited.' <p><strong>Introduction</strong></p>The 8th South African Infantry Regiment was formed for service in East Africa during November, 1915, and was one of the Units comprising the 2nd South African Infantry Brigade, which consisted of the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th South African Infantry Regiments.
