dc.description In multi-ethnic military forces, problems can be expected to be related to questions of language, attitudes and values, the extent of inter-ethnic mixing and discrimination. It has also emerged that there are no standard solutions to these problems, but that any remedies must be based on accurate knowledge of ethnic differences, and should normally include programmes of education to promote understanding of these differences.
