[Français] Pour exploiter le potentiel du réseautage social et de la collaboration entre pairs par des étudiants en formation à distance, le Cégep@distance expérimente un nouveau modèle d’environnement numérique d’apprentissage. Ce dispositif conçu pour soutenir la « transparence » des diverses contributions entre étudiants est basé sur la théorie de la liberté coopérative. Nous présentons ici les considérations pédagogiques, technologiques et administratives qui ont présidé aux décisions de design de l’environnement. Elles ont été analysées principalement pour tenir compte des caractéristiques de la clientèle visée. [English] In an effort to leverage the potential of social networking and peer collaboration for its distance education students, Cegep@distance is experimenting with a special type of learning management system. This system, designed to support transparency among students , is based on the theory of cooperative freedom.The present article discusses the various considerations that went into the design decisions, on the pedagogical, technological and administrative levels. A key underlying principle in the analysis was to take into account the particular characteristics of the target population. |
