dc.description In this paper we rely on the problematic of multiculturalism as a political key to put forward the need to fight for a renewed curriculum theory. In so doing we claim for what one calls deterritorialization of curriculum theory as well. In order to edify our argument we suggest, the need not only to understand both curriculum theory and its deterritorialization within the context of the current social political moment – a moment paced by the mergence of new sovereignties, but also to defend a critical multiculturalism or a critical multicultural education. We will end this analyzes claiming for a deterritorialized curriculum theory that aims the development of a renewed curriculum theory, a theory that exhibits new tools to face the new and complex challenges of our current society.
