dc.description	The article analyzes the development of distance learning in secondary schools of Russia and abroad, considers the problems of implementation of distance learning in secondary schools, shows the prospects for distance learning for senior pupils at their profile level, and presents examples of successful projects of foreign distance learning in secondary education.<br>У статті проведено аналіз розвитку дистанційної освіти в загальноосвітніх навчальних закладах Росії і зарубіжжя, відображені проблеми запровадження дистанційної освіти у середні школи, показані перспективи дистанційної освіти для навчання старшокласників на профільному рівні та розглянуті приклади зарубіжних успішних проектів дистанційної форми навчання в середній освіті.
