Resumen:Entre 1885 y 1889 se llevaron a cabo en el país una serie de medidas, que en su conjunto se conocen como La Reforma. Marcó un paso trascendental en la formación de ciudadanos al incluir en los planes de estudio de enseñanza, una asignatura que de manera concreta y explícita se encargó de difundir los contenidos y valores que la cívica involucra. El Capítulo I, Artículo 7 de la Ley General de Educación Común del año de 1886, estableció que dentro del mínimum de instrucción obligatoria se encontraba la materia, Moral e Instrucción Cívica.A lo largo de los años que comprenden el periodo de 1886 a 1920 se emitieron diversos programas para las materias que comprendían la enseñanza primaria. Consecuentemente la Instrucción Cívica también, recibe la asignación de nuevos contenidos. Así que, estos programas constituyen una fuente de primera mano que permiten acceder, no sólo al conjunto de conocimientos que recibían los estudiantes, sino también, a las ideas, costumbres y valores que construyen y modelan al ciudadano costarricense dentro del sistema educativo formal.Es por eso que este trabajo tiene como propósito, analizar la incidencia que tuvo la Reforma Educativa en el establecimiento de la Instrucción Cívica como materia que permitía la formación del ciudadano costarricense, durante el período de 1886 a 1920, año en el cual se produjeron una serie de cambios propiciados por la influencia de nuevas corrientes pedagógicas.Fundamentalmente, pretende establecer y examinar los contenidos que se impartían en la enseñanza primaria a partir del conjunto de programas educativos que se emitieron a lo largo de estos años.Abstract: Between 1885 and 1889 got to end at the country a series of measures, that they know themselves like The Reform. Logically the Civic Instruction also, receive the assignment of new contents.These programs constitute a first-hand source that they allow to consent, not only to the set of knowledge that the students were receiving, but also, to the ideas, habits and moral values that they construct and they model to the Costa Rican citizen inside the formal educational system.The fact that this work has like purpose, to analyze the incidence that had in the Educative shapes into the establishment of the Civic Instruction, like matter that the Costa Rican citizen's formation, during the period of 1886 to 1920, year in which a series of changes propitiated by the influence of news of produced make pedagogic sources. They intend to establish and to examine the contents that were given in the primary education as from the set of educational programs that were emitted through of these years. |
