Se avanza en una investigación documental que trata sobre la Enseñanza de la Geografía para los Nuevos Tiempos y surge a partir de la problemática producida por la falta de implementación de estrategias de aprendizaje que promuevan una clase amena, participativa y problematizada. Uno de los problemas confrontados en la Enseñanza de la Geografía radica, primordialmente, en la falta de suficiente motivación de los alumnos, como resultado de clases centradas en el docente, inadecuadas estrategias de enseñanza que integren al alumno al trabajo escolar, excesiva descripción de hechos, memorizaciones, copias, recargo de tareas, rigidez y sesgo de los programas los cuales no atienden a las expectativas de los estudiantes; además que carecen de metodologías de enseñanza novedosas y acordes con los cambios histórico-sociales del país. Se propone una enseñanza más dinámica, integrada a la realidad específica del alumno, que lo lleve a internalizar las asignaturas de Ciencias Sociales; particularmente, se insiste en ubicar a la Enseñanza de la Geografía frente a los cambios educativos del país, con énfasis en la metodología, contenidos y nuevas estrategias de enseñanza. Las circunstancias y exigencias de un mundo cambiante obligan a una mayor preparación para acceder en términos iguales a los requerimientos técnico-científicos de la sociedad, siendo el maestro el centro de estas innovaciones por cuanto su contacto diario con el aula de clase lo compromete a un dominio teórico - metodológico que contribuya a una clase innovadora en la disciplina geográfica y cuyo fin busca ubicarnos en el campo experiencial del quehacer educativo<br>This a documental research’s advances about teaching Geography for the new times and it arises from the problematic produces by the lack of implementation of learning strategies that could promotes a pleasant, collaborative, solving problems class, that it restrict to adapt itself to the quali-quantitative changes of the Venezuelan educative process. One of the problems confronted by teaching Geography is, fundamentally, the lack of sufficient motivation in the students, as a results of teacher centered classes, inadequate teaching strategies that don’t allows to integrate each student in the school work. Furthermore, the excessive focus in descriptions and memorize facts, copies, surcharges of tasks, rigidity and slant of the programs, whose do not pay attention to the expectations of the children, beside the deficient methodology of novel lessons in agreement with the historical-social changes of the country. This proposal focus in a more dynamic teaching, integrated to the specific reality of the student, it takes him or her to internalize the subjects of Social Science. Particularly we insisted on locating the teaching of Geography as part of the educative changes of the country, with emphasis in new methodology, contents and strategies of teaching this area. The circumstances and exigencies of a changing world demand a better preparation to accede in equal terms to the technical-scientists requirements of this society, the teacher is the center of these innovations, his or her daily contact with the classroom compromise them to a theorical -methodologic knowledge of the subjects that contributes to an innovating class in this discipline and whose aims looks to locate us in the experiential field of the educative task. |
