dc.description In the article the integral nature of probability in the context of globalization. Introduces the concept of the objectivist and subjectivist probability. Show the relationship of the theory of probability and risk. It demonstrates the basic types of probability. Reveals the role of probability theory in the study of disasters. Held certain parallels with the features of a nonlinear world. Purpose: Highlighting the role of probability in modern scientific knowledge with access to social development. Methods of operation: methods of system analysis, historical and logical unity, Comparative method. Results: The study determined that the individual is unlikely to have the amount of knowledge known to all mankind, that is itself a separate individual is unlikely to enjoy and sometimes even a certain amount of what the other person knows, this possibility suggests that, in the end, the problem comes to what is a subjective assessment of the likelihood or as called peer review. Field of application of the results: the results of the research can be used in the methodology of science, social philosophy and philosophy of time
