dc.description In the study, it has been aimed to examine the effect of usage the drama method on the students’ success in the unit of “The Systems in Our Bodies’ in Science and Technology course. In this regard, as success test in the study, two tier diagnostic tests were used. In the study, a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design was used and 36 students in the 6th grade were included in the study. In the application period; the lessons were maintained with drama method supported the Science and Technology curriculum in the experimental group, and the lessons were continued by using only the Science and Technology curriculum in the control group. As a data collection tool, the two tier diagnostic tests consisting of 19 questions prepared by researcher were used. The obtained data were analyzed by using SPSS 17 program. When the data obtained from the study was examined, it was clearly understood that it was increased in student achievement in both groups (experiment group- control group). Considering these results, it has been made some suggestions.
