Purpose: to define effective methods of teaching foreign languages in high school. In current context of globalization and the development of higher education researchers are actively seeking for new methods to improve the quality of foreign language training. The use of multimedia is one of these methods. This article researches topical tasks of modern higher education in teaching foreign languages; reveals an interactive teaching method notion; studies possibilities of using multimedia in foreign language classroom in high school for non-linguistic students; analyzes advantages of multimedia; justifies the need for use of multimedia in educational purposes; considers the most effective tasks that can be used in the process of teaching a foreign language in a technical university. |
