The article discusses regional banking systems role in the Russia’s economic development and in the process of elimination of territorial inequalities, which were determined while studying statistics. The aim of the article is to work out recommendations on how to manage the banking capital on the regional level in order to stimulate the development of regional economies. To achieve this aim author learns the structure and foundations of regional banking systems and gives the complex definition for regional banking system term. Novelty of the article consists in revelation of problems in forming and development of regional banking systems and searching for possible solutions. The main conclusions are: regional banks are the most close to the specific of local enterprises; a range of problems complicates the regional banking systems development and the core problem is the lack of money for long-term financing for the region’s firms; effective policy concerning the regional banking capital management is able to improve the situation. |
