dc.description	The implementation of the education system in Gabon, as in other African countries, born of the school intervention of the missionaries, with religiously oriented educational projects and assimilation into Western culture of the colonial power itself. France is the dominant reference for this West Central African country. Since independence in 1960 Gabon’s educational model is still adopting the French in all its structures, from primary school to university, despite the different adaptations undertaken, especially since they Généraux États de l’Éducation, 1983.<br>La implantación del sistema educativo de Gabón, como en otros países de África, parte de la intervención escolar de los misioneros, con proyectos educativos de orientación religiosa y de asimilación en la cultura occidental propia de la potencia colonial. Francia es el referente dominador para este país del África Central Occidental. Desde la independencia de Gabón en 1960 el modelo educativo que se adopta continúa siendo el francés en todas sus estructuras, desde la escuela primaria hasta la universidad, y a pesar de las diferentes adaptaciones emprendidas, sobre todo desde les États Généraux de l’Éducation de 1983.
