dc.description The basic aim of this study is to find out the problems about the application of the OGEM which is formed to and what suggestions could be made to solve these problems. Qualitative research method was used for this study and data were analyzed through “content analysis”. Sehit Ertuğrul İlkokulu which is located in Nicosia, the capital city of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, is a Curriculum Laboratory School and was chosen for this study. The sample consisted of 13 people and included; the headmaster, students, parents, school parent union, head of the teachers’ union, minister of education and an employee from the Education and Training Department. The findings showed that in order for OGEM to succeed and for the Turkish Society to keep up with the standards of developed countries and reach their goals in the future at international level we must improve the investment on our human resources management and the fundamental social services.
