dc.description The presented study is an example of Internet marketing application in the sphere of education. Communication of schools with the public on the Internet became crutial part of their public relations. The experts have evaluted www pages of gymnasiums (grammar schools) in Plzen region in the Czech Republic using special evaluation tool. The result of pilot research shows the current status of school presentations. Communication with students, parents and teachers, including communications on the Internet is of great importance for schools. Authors of this article are looking for new trends and so the paper presents an additional example of how school students use Facebook. Compared with the 2005 research (Mareš, Lukas, 2007), we can say that schools have already managed and shifted their communication via the Internet.
