dc.description The article views students’ assessment activities as a means of development of a person’s cognitive and communicative potential and person’s ability to further self-development and self-training. Structural and functional components of assessing activity (cognitive, communicative and regulative) determine assessment tasks as functionally coordinated actions of a thought, speech and language. These actions provide assimilation of language norms and generalized algorithms of the action.
