dc.description The article examines the role of extracurricular activities in teaching foreign languages and cultures as well as in training of a would-be-teacher. Multi-format events allow students to be engaged into activities aimed at the creation of an educational output, and the proposed non-standard tasks require them to use the skills and abilities from the different areas of knowledge.
