dc.description The lecture as a method in pre-universitary teaching is treated in this paper. Some theoretical aspects connected with the method are presented. The importance of the explanation in chemistry lessons are revealed. This method is important when a new theme is to be teach at pre-universitary level, depending of the pupils psychological resources. Some examples are presented in chemistry field.
