An important concept of photosynthetic solar constant is proposed. This signifies the value of power produced in theform of biomass through the photosynthetic engine by making use of the visible band present in the standard solarconstant under ideal conditions. Its value is estimated as 70 W/m2 which corresponds to an equivalent biomass of4.5x10-6Kg/m2/s. |
