dc.description In the improvement of educational systems teachers play a key role. Raising teacher training to MSc level, enhancing preparedness in pedagogy, methodology, altering attitudes to educational technology will basically further efforts to turn education into a knowledge-intensive field. To acquire competencies in using educational instruments, media development, communication and methodological skills in line with the challenges of the age is of paramount importance more than ever. The objective of the research/development programme was to design a competence catalogue and to work out a training programme on the grounds thereof, which is based on the use of the active board. The use of the intensive active board playing a shifting role in developing/transforming teaching culture fundamentally advances the development of teachers' competencies in and approaches to planning, teaching, fulfilling roles, evaluating.V tvorbe vzdelávacíchsystémov učitelia zastávajú kľúčovú pozíciu. Musia si osvojiť základné kompetencie v používaní modernýchdidaktickýchprostried-kov a v tvorbe učebnýchpomôcok. Zaradenie interaktív-nychtabúľ do učební je príkladom toho, ako sa dajú jednoducho a úspešne zaraďovať nové audiovizuálne prostriedky učebné pomôcky a elektronické vzdelávanie do výučby - vytvorením konštruktívneho, situatívneho prostredia pre učenie. Na základe výskumu autori zostavili katalóg kompetencií pod názvom Metodika používania interaktívnychtabúľ. Pre individuálne učenie a rozvíjanie vlastnýchkompetencií bol navrhnutý a overený experimentálny program.
