dc.description	Exploiting knowledge for more financial profit is a development born out of the recognition of knowledge as the most critical resource for any size of organization, where all types of knowledge are deliberately or serendipitously generated, recorded and retained. However, the usage of the Internet as the main vehicle in disseminating market and knowledge in knowledge commerce is fairly new. The purpose of this paper is to describe the pros and cons of knowledge commerce in organizations, by analyzing their major characteristics. The paper also proposes Knowledge Commerce Phases which will help to determine the most beneficial point to initiate the commercialization of knowledge in an organization.
