dc.description	The aim of this study is to identify pre-service teachers’ assessment competencies on selecting educational software used incomputer assisted instruction. The participants consist of 61 pre service teachers enrolling “foundations of computer based instruction” which takes place in the curriculum of 7th semi semester of elementary education of Ahi Evran University. Theresearch method of this study is descriptive model. The "software assessment form" which was developed Sahin and Yıldırım, used for data collection. The collected data was analyzed by calculating mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the participant pre-service teachers’ educational software assessment competencies are low.
