dc.description In the paper there are presented results of a research which aim was to determine significance degree of particular competencies identified as key competencies for the ability to manage teaching process at school from the point of view of practising school heads. The author analyses the results on the one hand in relation to the whole research group consisting of 1204 heads involved in the research and on the other hand in relation to its various sub-groups created on such criteria as are level of the managed school (elementary or secondary school), its size according the number of its pupils, length of the managing practise of the heads, their gender, kind of the completed university education.V príspevku sú prezentované výsledky vý­skumu zameraného na hodnotenie miery významnosti jednotlivých kompetencií identifikovaných ako kľúčové pre oblasť riadenia pedagogického procesu v školách z pohľadu riaditeľov v praxi. Autorka analyzuje výsledky jednak vo vzťahu k celej skupine 1204 riaditeľov škôl za­pojených do výskumu, a jednak vo vzťahu k špecificky vy­tvoreným skupinám týchto riaditeľov (rozdelenie základ­nej výskumnej vzorky praktizujúcich riaditeľov do pod­skupín na základe kritéria stupňa a veľkosti nimi riadenej školy, dĺžky ich riadiacej praxe, pohlavia, typu absolvo­vaného vysokoškolského vzdelania).
