dc.description	The purpose of that study is to introduce the attitudes of the children against the environment. The sampling of the study consists of the 353 preschool children of 60-72 months, attending the independent kindergartens affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and the nursery classes of the primary schools in Giresun city center. As the data collection tool, the “Environmental Reaction Inventory” consisting of 8 items had been used. For the interpreting of the findings of the research, “0.05 - significance level” had been taken as the basis. The analysis had been made by using the software “SPSS 15.0”. At the research it had been arrived to the conclusion that the attitudes of the preschool children against the environment do not differ as a result of the place they live, the education level of their parents, the income of the family, or the career of the parents (p>0.05) but as a result of their gender (p<0.05).
