dc.description This study analysed various scientific resources, including international publications and theInternet. 26 thesis on types of intelligence obtained from the Centre of Documentation and International Knowledge Databaseof the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YOK) have been investigated. In addition, 10 journal publications at the TurkishScience and Research Council (TUBITAK) were examined. These resources were statistically analysed with frequency and percentage tables using the SSPS Package Program. Differenttypes of intelligence were grouped according to the following factors: type of publication, year, discipline, level, model, individual or group work, language, key words and authors' affiliations. The results of this study showed a considerable increase in the number of Turkish language publications on types ofintelligence in 2002 and 2003, mostly covering the areas of science, English and mathematics. Although many of these workswere carried out with primary school children, this group is still not sufficiently evaluated.
