dc.description Purpose: analysis of motivation of educational activity of trade education with determination of reasons and factors of choice of profession and structure of motivational sphere of students of direction social work. Methodology: analysis of literature, scientific researches in area of psychology and social work, analysis of results of questionnaire of students. The choice of profession the students of a 1 course in area of social work is carried out taking into account internal factors and insignificant the amount of external. Motivational sphere of educational activity of students of mnogokomponentna and raznourovneva. Students from the first for a fifth course have a gradual transition from one level to other both cognitive and social reasons. Leading factors, affecting vnutristrukturnuyu dynamics of motivational sphere, it is been: organization of educational activity and educate work, style of intercourse, kinds and teaching forms, reasons of choice of profession and situations and other. Forming, an account and analysis of motivation of educational activity of students must be carried out system. For the realized motivation of choice of profession it is necessary to revise maintenance and forms of teaching and education of students on the spread of learnings about a profession social work and to privitiyu of interest to the profession. Practical implications: reasons of choice of profession and motivational sphere of students to the studies are examined as important elements of trade education and as factors of upgrading education.
