dc.description The typology of prostitution is a significant scientific, methodological and practical problem. Existing typologies are based mainly on observed features of prostitution, and do not take into consideration essential aspects of the relationship between personal characteristics of women engaged in prostitution, such as the addictive status, attitudes and mental health, and the environment they work in prostitution. This paper presents an empirical typology of prostitution, based on the results of the survey and application of hierarchical cluster analysis to its results. A typology of prostitution, based on the clustering of socio-demographic parameters, the characteristics of alcohol and drug use, sexual and family life, commercial sexual activity, social environment, criminalization, attitudes, level of experiencing violence, experience of exiting prostitution, and mental health indicators of anxiety and depression, is proposed.
