dc.description Se presenta una propuesta de superación profesional de corte pedagógico dirigida a los licenciados en Tecnología de la Salud que se desempeñan como docentes en la Educación Médica, media y superior, con el objetivo de elevar sus conocimientos y habilidades, así como su competencia y desempeño profesional. Se analizó el plan de estudio, el perfil del egresado y el gráfico de la carrera y se valoraron las modificaciones a que ha sido sometido este diseño. Se analizaron los antecedentes de la formación y superación posgraduada en Cuba y sus basamentos teóricos. Se identificaron necesidades de aprendizaje de corte pedagógico, mediante la aplicación de encuestas y entrevistas dirigidas a expertos, profesores y licenciados en Tecnología de la Salud. Se utilizó el criterio de expertos para la propuestas de competencias docentes. En la muestra seleccionada quedaron representadas todas las especialidades técnicas que incluye la carrera. Se exploraron las modalidades de posgrados para la organización de la propuesta así como las principales dificultades. Se destacó la coincidencia de criterios entre los sujetos objeto de estudio y se corroboró la necesidad de la propuesta. El sistema de superación pedagógica consta de 2 talleres, 3 cursos cortos de posgrado y 1 diplomado. Se recomendó la aplicación de esta propuesta metodológica y el análisis de su impacto.<br>A proposal of pedagogical professional upgrading for health technology licentiates working as professors in middle level and higher medical education is made in order to increase their knowledge and abilities, as well as their professional competence and performance. The syllabus, the graduate's profile and the graphic of the career were analyzed and the modifications made to this design were assessed. The antecedents of postgraduate training and upgrading in Cuba and their theoretical foundations were analyzed. Pedagogical learning needs were identified by surveys and interviews directed to experts, professors and health technology licenciates. The expert criterion was used for the the proposals of teaching competence. All the technical specialities included in the career were represented in the selected dample. The postgraduate modalities for the organization of the proposal and the main difficulties were explored. It was stressed the coincidence of criteria among the individuals under study and it was corroborated the need of the proposal. The system of pedagogical upgrading is composed of 2 workshops, 3 short postgraduate courses and a diploma project. The application of this methodological proposal and the analysis of its impact were recommended.
