In order to find an alternative treating method of cystectomy of paradental cysts accompanying diseases of lower eighth teeth’s eruption, the comparative analysis of two operative methods of treatment (traditional surgery method and the method of piezosurgery) has been done. It was identified that the major location of the lower eighth teeth where paradental cysts appear are distal oblique, horizontal with the location of the tooth in the branches of the lower jaw. It was established that if applying the method of piezosurgery during the postoperative period then wound healing occurs by first intention, there is improvement of reparative regeneration, time of the postoperative period shortens, and there is no recurrence of the disease. These figures are due to a more gentle action of ultrasound on the bone structure, which reduces the risk of burning the bone. Due to the effect of cavitation a bactericidal effect is achieved. Thus, the method of piezosurgery is noninvasive treatment of paradental cysts compared to the standard method of treatment, it should be widely used in medical practice. |
