dc.description	A crescente evolução e utilização de novas tecnologias vem acarretando profundas mudanças no meio ambiente e nas relações e nos modos de vida da população, colocando os indivíduos diante de novos desafios, cuja maioria a população não está preparada para enfrentar. Como possibilidade para melhor discernir situações deste tipo e atuar sobre elas, propomos desenvolver atividades didáticopedagógicas direcionadas para uma alfabetização científica e tecnológica, tendo como base aspectos históricos e epistemológicos e atentando para a questão das concepções, valores e atitudes dos indivíduos nas suas ações em sociedade. Estudos em curso sobre ciência, tecnologia e sociedade (CTS) e sobre a problemática ambiental serviram de apoio para a elaboração do presente trabalho.<br>The growing evolution and utilization of new technologies is causing deep changes in the environment and on relations and life manners of the population, putting the individuals facing new challenges, even that most of them aren't prepared to face them. In order to better distinguish and act in these kind of situations, we propose to develop teaching activities toward a scientific and technological alphabetization, based on historical and epistemological appearances and paying attention to issues as individual conceptions, values and attitudes in their actions in the society. Several studies on science, technology and society (STS) and of environmental problematic in progress served to support the elaboration of this research.
