dc.description This paper shows the theme Social inclusion: the educator overcoming limit sand overcoming prejudices. To do so, raises the question:"How the teacher visually impaired attempts to overcome the limitations in the school environment?".The aim is to promote are flection on the social inclusion of educators, knowing the challenges, conditions, resources and limitations in the school environment.The aim of this work wasto observe the difficulties of the teacher with visual impairments and their own acceptance.Thus, this work may help the educator to overcome the prejudice faced in everyday life. The research it is a case study conducted with a blind teacher. A questionnaire was developed, in order to meet the challenges and surpassing the teacher. The study site is in a room of the secretary of education,inacity of ParaíbaValley-SP, where the educators currently working through training coursesfor teachersinclusive.Readings were taken of bibliographic references for the study exploratory qualitative analysis. The procedures for blood sampling of the survey data were obtained from the questionnaire and conducting a site visit to verify conditions of adaptation of the educator.With all the challenges and overruns, it is concluded that the teacher knew visually impaired face prejudice and limitations, work for inclusion.
