dc.description The article deals with the means of presentation of the eschatological motives which are very typical of the late Anglo-Saxon literature. With Christianity a lot of new ideas and concepts entered into the life of Anglo-Saxon. The transition period from paganism to Christianity was characterized by the change in the time perception, such as understanding of time as the eschatological process and expecting the imminent end of the world.
