Solutions are not only the subjects of chemists but also are usually referred by engineers, biologists, doctors and physicians. Whereas, researches on the science instruction have shown that students have many misconceptions about solutions as in the other subjects of science. In order to minimize misconceptions and make learning permanent, a lot of methods and techniques have been developed. In this research, Cooperative Learning Method and Traditional Learning Method are compared by considering the criteria of both a academicsuccess of students and their attitudes toward the lessons. By analyzing the results of the comparison between these two methods, it has reached that Cooperative Learning Method is more successful than Traditional Method. Furthermore, it was seen that the students, in the group of Traditional Learning Method, had showed negativeattitudes toward lessons performed by using a laboratory. |
