Este artículo se propone demostrar los intentos expansionistas de Alemania en la actividad comercial en el Caribe, más específicamente en la "región marabina" durante las tres primeras décadas del siglo XX. En este intento se topa con los estadounidenses y británicos, quienes ya habían iniciado la explotación del petróleo en el área de influencia de Maracaibo; la metodología de investigación está impregnada por la idea de totalidad, pues a través del proceso de abstracción de una actividad concreta, como el comercio, se evidencia la tendencia expansionista de la nación teutona. El forcejeo por el control de la región marabina y del mundo culminará con el triunfo de los aliados -EE.UU, Inglaterra, Francia, entre otros- sobre el eje Berlín, Roma y Tokio en 1945; la derrota de Alemania en la 2ª Guerra Mundial trajo como consecuencia la desaparición del predominio de los ciudadanos provenientes de Hamburgo, Bremen y Lübeck en las diversas actividades económicas de la distintas regiones del continente americano y del resto del mundo.<br>The object of this article is to demonstrate the expansionist attempts of Germany in the commercial activities of the Caribbean, specifically in the "marabina region" during the first three decades of the twentieth century. These attempts clashed with the American and the British presence who had already started the exploitation of oil in the Maracaibo region. The research methodology is filled with the wholeness idea, because through the process of complete abstraction of a concrete activity, such as the commercial one, the expansionist tendency of the Teuton nation is evidenced. The fight for the control of the "marabina" region and the world will end with the victory of the allied nations -USA, England and France among others- over the Berlin, Rome and Tokyo axis in 1945; the defeat of Germany in World War II brought as a consequence the disappearance of the prevailing presence of the citizen from Hamburg, Bremen and Lübeck in the different commercial activities in the different regions of the American continent and the world. |
