dc.description This article analyses the current transformation of the European University, also known as the Bologna Process, within the interpretation framework provided by the theory of cognitive capitalism. In my opinion this theory is the key to understanding the University as an essential device fin the formation of "knowledge workers", central agents of wealth-value creation at this (emerging) stage of capitalism.
