The Evaluation of Social Skills of Children Attending to Independent Preschool and Kindergarten

dc.description	This research is planned on the purpose of revealing whether there is a difference between independent preschool children and kindergarten children in terms of their social skills. For this research, a total of 106 six-year-old children, 54 of them are the ones attending independent preschools and 52 of them are from the kindergartens within the primary schools in 2009-2010 school year in Aksaray province are included. For the data collection "Preschool and Kindergarten Behavior Scale” which is developed by Merrel (1994) is used and in analysis of data "t test" is used. . In conclusion, it has emerged that there is a significant difference between the two groups in terms of social skills.
