dc.description	<p align="justify">Este estudo objetivou analisar a formação de professores da Educação Infantil. Orientou-se pela questão: “Qual a contribuição do Curso de Pedagogia para a formação de docentes para a Educação Infantil na percepção de alunas dos sétimos e oitavos períodos dos anos de 2008 e 2009?”. Teve por objetivos: compreender a concepção que os professores, ainda em fase de formação (último ano do Curso de Pedagogia), têm sobre sua formação; identificar em suas percepções o quanto se sentem preparados para o exercício profissional. O estudo foi desenvolvido por meio de metodologia qualitativa, utilizando-se três contextos de coletas de dados. Os dados coletados foram analisados com aproximação da técnica do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. A análise dos dados demonstrou que: a formação de professores de Educação Infantil ainda se redefine nos Cursos de Pedagogia; há preocupação por parte das universidades de anualmente rever suas propostas curriculares. Pode-se afirmar, mediante dados coletados, que a contribuição do Curso de Pedagogia para a formação de professores da Educação Infantil é parcial e restrita, em razão dos seguintes fatores: propostas tímidas em relação ao currículo, estágios pouco planejados, o que dificulta a articulação da teoria com a prática, e a indefinição da identidade do curso. <br><br>This study aimed to analyze the teachers trainning in the Child education. Guided by the question: “Which was the contribution of the Pedagogy Course for the teachers trainning in the context of Child Education in the perception of students from the seventh and eighth terms in the 2008 and 2009 years?” The main objectives in this research were: To understand the teachers conception, in training process (last term of the Pedagogy Course), have about it; to identify in these perceptions how they feel prepared to start their professional life. Through a qualitative methodology, the study was developed into three different data collecting contexts. Those data were analyzed with a Collective Subject Speech approach. The data analysis showed that: the training for the Child Education is in redefinition process in the Pedagogy Courses; the universities are concerned about improving their curricular proposals constantly. According to the data collected, it is possible to affirm that the contribution of the Pedagogy Course for the teachers training for the Child Education area is partial and restricted, due to the following aspects: weak proposals for the redefinition of their curriculum; badly planned probation periods that make it difficult to articulate theory and practice; and, finally, the lack a definite identity.
