dc.description	El propósito de esta investigación fue determinar el impacto de una intervención curricular en la asignatura de Lenguaje y Comunicación. Un total de 515 estudiantes y ocho docentes pertenecientes a seis establecimientos secundarios ubicados en el sur de Chile, participaron durante un semestre académico, en actividades que consideraron el uso de servicios de Internet 2.0 y un modelo para el desarrollo de habilidades de manejo de información. Las preguntas que orientaron la investigación fueron: ¿De qué manera una implementación curricular influye en el desarrollo de habilidades de manejo de información, lectura y escritura?, ¿Qué cambios de prácticas pueden darse entre alumnos y docentes participantes de dicha innovación? Se utilizaron pruebas teóricas pre y post intervención en las habilidades señaladas, las cuales mostraron un impacto positivo en producción de texto. A través de entrevistas, grupos focales y observaciones de aula se indagó sobre el impacto que esta actividad tuvo en las prácticas pedagógicas de alumnos y docentes, lo que permitió constatar cambios en algunas prácticas de enseñanza, aprendizaje y evaluación. El estudio abre una interesante discusión sobre la implementación de innovaciones educativas basadas en TIC y su potencial impacto en contextos educativos donde éstas se implementan.<br>This research aimed to analyze the impact of a curriculum intervention implemented in the subject of Language and Communication. A total of 515 students and eight teachers from six secondary schools located in the southern part of Chile were involved during a school term into pedagogical activities that considered the use of Internet 2.0 and a model for developing information literacy skills. Two questions oriented the research process: to what extend the implementation of this curriculum proposal can affect reading, writing and information literacy skills? What educational practices among teachers and students can be adopted? A pre-post test approach was used to measure the skills mentioned, showing positive outcomes on their writing skills. Interviews, focal groups, and classroom observation showed potential adoption of a few teaching, learning and assessment practices. The report opens an interesting discussion about the implementation of education interventions using ICT resources, and its potential impact on educational contexts.
