dc.description - The fourth dimension of time. An interpretation of the notion of nearness in Martin Heidegger's Conference “Being and Time” - The article analyzes the conference Time and Being by Martin Heidegger in dialogue with the conference The thing. First, it tries to accede to a fundamental comprehension of the fourth dimension of time or nearness (Nähe) as a result of the encounter in the world between heaven, earth, mortals and gods. In second place, it shows the limits off all possible explicitations of the event, conceived as the “it” (Es) that the time gives (gibt) that “it gives” (es gibt) from the nearness. Third, it sketches how this “it” concentrates the turn (Kehre), but also the articulation between the comprehension of time in Being and time and in Time and being.
