Este artigo tem como tema central a análise das concepções de letramento presentes em situações problemas na Provinha Brasil de Matemática do 2º ano do Ensino Fundamental e realiza reflexões acerca da relação entre o letramento e o letramento matemático. Seu objetivo é distinguir os conceitos de alfabetização matemática e de letramento matemático presentes nas questões que envolvem a resolução de problemas. O referencial teórico adotado centra-se em autores que discorrem sobre a questão do letramento e, também, sobre o letramento matemático; sobre os conceitos de letramento autônomo e ideológico; e sobre seu paralelismo entre a alfabetização matemática e o letramento matemático. Refletimos sobre as concepções de resolução de problemas, bem como quais destas concepções adotadas pelos teóricos perpassam pela alfabetização ou pelo conceito de letramento matemático. Para realizar a análise documental, trouxemos, na íntegra, as cinco questões relacionadas à resolução de situações problemas, tal qual foram apresentadas para os alunos, e analisamos como as concepções de letramento são evidenciadas nas resoluções de problemas no documento. Os resultados apontam que o discurso presente no Plano de Desenvolvimento da Educação (PDE), 2011, sobre a resolução de problemas, não se aplica na prática, pois as questões analisadas resumem-se a atividades de alfabetização matemática, não perpassando pelo conceito de letramento.
This article has as its focus the analysis of literacy conceptions present in problem-solving situations in Maths from ‘Provinha Brasil’ for the 2nd year of Secondary School and promotes reflections on the relationship between literacy and mathematics literacy. Its aim is to distinguish the concept of mathematics alphabetization and mathematics literacy in problem-solving questions. The adopted theoretical references come from authors who discuss the literacy issue and also mathematics literacy; concepts of autonomous and ideological literacy and the parallel between mathematics alphabetization and mathematics literacy. We reflect on problem-solving conceptions and also which of these conceptions adopted by the theorists refer to numeracy or mathematics literacy. In order to carry out the documents analysis, we collected the five problem-solving questions exactly as they were proposed to the students, and analyzed how the literacy conceptions are evident in the problem solving proposals from the document. The results reveal that the discourse presented in the 2011 Education Development Plan (Plano de Desenvolvimento da Educação – PDE) regarding problem solving is not applied in practice, as the analyzed questions refer exclusively to activities which reveal mathematics numeracy, not involving the concept of literacy. |
