In analysis, for Two-way ANOVA for Mixed Measures, Independent Samples t-Test, power statistical and samples’ area of adequacy. As a result, there was a meaningful effect being in different groups on student achievement [ F (2,213)=9,83, p<0,01). Compared to traditional assessment method, Portfolio assessment increases the academic achievement level to the some extent, however, this increase does not seem be to be statistically meaningful. However, Portfolio assessment increases the level of retention statically meaningful level [t(213)=2,44; p<,05]. This result is important inthe transformation of the knowledge to the life and lifelong continual behavior. Portfolio can be used in assessing university level students’ academic achievement.
