dc.description This work has the main focus on describing the culture of a group of children and adolescents with street experience who frequent the same urban location. The research was developed and based on sociology of childhood, symbolic interactionism and ethnographic boarding that has the data which the own research has analyzed. Moreover, the data has been collected throughout one year of direct observation on the children who have been assisted by education of Axe project. The paper discusses how children appropriate the street context, seeking to understand how different urban areas help to present a way to be characteristic of "street children"; it discusses the ways of presenting themselves and the functionality of these modes, both in terms of appearance and language, describing their relationships with family and other adults, as these are key actors in building a career in the street; it discusses the career in the street, in the defense of which each child builds his own story , which can not be generalized, valuing the culture and knowledge that it constructed in interaction with reality to which it belongs.
