<p>Recibido 30 de noviembre 2007 • Aprobado 12 de diciembre 2007</p><p><em><br /></em></p> <h1><strong><em> </em></strong></h1> <p><strong>Resumen.</strong> La investigación que da origen al artículo, busca señalar cómo, a través de procesos educativos, se puede prevenir y erradicar el abuso sexual a niños, niñas y adolescentes en las comunidades rurales de El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras y Nicaragua.</p> <p>Para tal fin, se parte desde la afirmación que el abuso sexual no puede abordarse de manera aislada, se requiere de acciones integrales y comprometidas de los garantes y las instancias responsables del desarrollo y protección integral de las niñas, niños y adolescentes.</p> <p>Esto implica considerar el marco legal existente, la respuesta que ofrecen las organizaciones gubernamentales, no gubernamentales, públicas y privadas, hacia la prevención, atención, sanciones y restitución de derechos violentados; el papel de las familias como principales responsables del bienestar de sus hijos e hijas y el rol de los niños, niñas y adolescentes.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Abstract.</strong><strong> </strong>This investigation has the purpose of identifying how to prevent through educational processes, and then eradicate, the sexual abuse against children and adolescents in rural communities from Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.</p> <p>The premise is that sexual abuse cannot be approached in an isolated way; it requires integral and committed actions of the institutions in charge of children and adolescents’ integral protection and development.</p> <p>This implies considering: the legal framework, the response offered by government and private organizations towards the prevention and attention of rights as well as their actions to penalize and restore the violated rights; the role of families as main responsible of the well being of their children and the role of children and adolescents.</p> |
