dc.description As linguagens alternativas têm sido utilizadas como um importante recurso didático para a aprendizagem de história. Entre essas linguagens, a música popular tem ocupado espaço, como instrumento pelo qual se revela o registro da vida cotidiana, na visão de autores que observam o contexto social no qual vivem. As representações sociais de autores e intérpretes serão instrumentos na transformação dos conceitos espontâneos em conceitos científicos, porque como registros são evidências, restos que o passado deixou para trás e que facilitam a compreensão histórica pelos alunos, pela empatia que estabelecem entre eles e aqueles que viveram em outros contextos históricos.<br>Alternative languages have been used as an important didactic resource for History learning. Among these languages, popular music has its space as an instrument that reveals registers of everyday life according to the vision of authors who observe the social context in which they live. The social representations of authors and interpreters will help transform spontaneous concepts into scientific concepts, because as registers, they are evidences, rests that the past left behind. They make historical comprehension easier for students through the empathy established between these and the people who lived in other historical contexts.
