dc.description The high percentages of school failure as well as the new challenges facing our educational system to contribute to the formation of the individual in the information society, put on the table again the old debate of the overcoming of the educational models traditional focused more on education in the learning. It is becoming ever more palpable the need to introduce new methodologies capable of generating improvements in the meaningfulness of apprenticeships and the acquisition of the powers that are reflected in the new curricula both of the basic education and the higher education.This article focuses on the description of the characteristics and possibilities of implementation of a "new" methodologies: the cooperative learning, understood as an educational strategy aimed at the conversion of classroom in an area rich in interactions, Where the dialog intersubjective becomes the cornerstone for the creation of meanings.The positive interdependence, individual responsibility and group, the interaction stimulating, development and practice of interpersonal skills and group, the evaluation group and the heterogeneity constitute the keys essential of this type of learning for which propose a model of methodological application based on the implementation of cooperative activities around the four elements or stadiums so hereinafter picks the Theory of Processing of Information: the zone of development, the Input, the Prosecution and Output.
