dc.description <p class="a">Moving and handling is an important aspect of caring for patients with dementia. This can be a serious risk to health care staff, and requires careful risk assessment and planning before execution to minimise any injury. This article explores some of the challenges nurses may face when moving and handling people with dementia. It offers guidance on how to deal with these challenges to promote safe practice and improve patient outcomes.</p>
