dc.description The article deals with the state policy aspects of the social status of Eastern Siberia teachers in the second half of XIX – the beginning of the XX centuries. The purpose is to analyze the main approaches of the government in point of teachers’ positioning as an important part of the social policy and solving personnel questions in education.
