dc.description The article makes an attempt to consider argumentative interaction in the judicial proceedings from the point of view of distributed cognition. In this aspect procedural opponent appeals to socially conditioned values shared by the parties of the case when brings up counterargumentation. That values and ideas are conveyed by rhetorical category of «topos».
