dc.description This article analyzes the main sociological approaches to the concept "patriotism". The special attention is given to a sociocultural approach and the term "sociocultural". An important aspect of the practical significance of the work is the possibility to use the material of the research to practical recommendations on the formation of patriotism among the youth. Results of work can be applied in teaching social Sciences and Humanities on the problems of the spiritual life of society and sociology of youth.
