dc.description	Work objective consists in the principled description of characteristics of the communicative competence display of a sportsman-footballer and the ways of its formation in the trainer process. Methods of the research used in the article: theoretical - the analysis of professional and sporting, psychological and pedagogical scientific literature and thesis works on the problem under study which formed the basis of characteristic and adjustment of the terminological field of the research; the comparative analysis, generalization, observation, systematization of materials on the problem under study. Research results. In the article the characteristics of communicative competence are found out in the professional activity of a sportsman-footballer on the basis of the carried-out analysis of theoretical literature, dissertational researches and the own experience. In the article the content of the terms is found out such as: «professional competence», «communicative competence» of a sportsman-footballer. The main component features of communicative competence formation are described, as one of the components of professional readiness of a sportsman-footballer to a team highly effective game. Scope of the results. Such view concerning the process of communicative competence formation of a sportsman-footballer will be interesting for experts in the field of physical fitness and sports in the development of comprehensive programs, projects, trainings for preparation of a professional sportsman.
